Gemüt Biergarten

Gemüt Biergarten was seeking a talented local LGBTQIA+ artist to design custom merchandise for their Pride Month celebrations in 2024. Known for their lively and community-driven approach, we aimed to create unique, vibrant merch that resonated with the spirit of Pride.

Goal: Create unique, garden-themed merch that resonates with the spirit of Pride. Make it magical.

Solution:

We incorporated thoughtful symbolism that tied together the themes of Pride and Gemüt Biergarten’s identity. Drawing inspiration from Gemüt’s name, which means “hospitality” and “good cheer,” as well as their biergarten setting, we integrated floral elements into the designs. These flower icons not only referenced the garden aspect of the biergarten but also symbolized growth, beauty, and community, values that align with both Pride Month and Gemüt’s inclusive ethos.
